Corcon
A wave, not a slab.
Corcon fuses “corrugation” and “concrete.” A lightweight, reusable steel form is pressed into a multiwave profile and cast into an earthquake-resistant, arch-ribbed slab — using less concrete and steel, with roughly half the scaffolding of a conventional pour.
4.0%
Drift ratio sustained in seismic testing at the University of Melbourne.
~50%
Less scaffolding — the formwork is self-supporting through the pour and concrete steel reinforcement
Multi reusable
Reuse upto 50 times/year
7 countries
Where Corcon was granted patents.
HOW IT WORKS
Three parts, kept simple on purpose.
The panel
Light enough to place by hand
Pressed into a corrugated wave profile — self-supporting, no crane needed.
The Pour
Fewer bearers, fewer props
Rib beams sit at up to 1200mm centres, double a standard layout.
The Structure
Strength from geometry
The arch beam system carries load through shape, spanning up to 9m, or 26m post-tensioned.
Built for
Where speed and resilience both matter.
Disaster reconstruction
Rebuild fast, rebuild proven
For governments rebuilding under seismic risk and tight budgets.
Remote, crane-less sites
No cranage bottleneck
Reuseable Panels are light enough to hand-carry and place, anywhere.

Backed by real testing
Not a theoretical system.
Corcon has been independently tested to severe seismic drift at the University of Melbourne, and used on real structural works in Qingdao, China.
- Independently tested to a 4.0% drift ratio — University of Melbourne
- Patented in 7 countries, including Australia, the US and China
- 500m² supplied to a Qingdao, China Olympic Village -5000m² project, completed in 45 days
- CSIRO-tested for acoustic and fire performance
- 15 Australian and international engineering & design awards, 1995–1999
- Used in Malaysia, Philippines & Botswana
